SIMATIC S7-mEC is a modular controller in S7-300 design with the latest embedded PC technology. The embedded controller combines the advantages of the tried and tested modular S7 controller with PC technology in one new device.

SIMATIC S7-mEC RTX stands out due to:

• Maximum ruggedness without fan or hard disk
• Modular expansion options, e.g. central expansion with S7-300 I/O
• Commissioning by specialist automation personnel as with the S7-300
• SIMATIC WinAC RTX already installed as software PLC.

Microbox 427B-RTX, Microbox 427B-HMI and Microbox 427B-HMI/RTX

Microbox 427B-RTX or Microbox 427B-HMI/RTX are ready-to-run combined embedded PCs with WinAC RTX and optionally with SIMATIC WinCC flexible.

The combination links the openness of PC-based controllers with the ruggedness of a conventional PLC: Flexible software and powerful, scalable hardware in an open, compact network.

An automation system is thus available to users with which strict real-time automation tasks and superior visualization tasks can be handled on a compact and rugged platform. In addition, this platform offers flexibility and effective integration into the overall task. This includes the close link with data processing or logistics systems as well as the link to technological tasks such as motion or vision systems. Windows XP Embedded is used as the operating system.

Panel PC 477B-HMI, Panel PC 477B-RTX and Panel PC 477B-HMI/RTX

The Panel PC 477B-HMI contains a preinstalled runtime of the WinCC flexible HMI software.
The Panel PC 477B-RTX comprises high-performance control software - pre-installed and pre-configured for the respective fieldbus interface.
The Panel PC 477B-HMI/RTX has both software versions installed.

Both panels are available in 12",15" and 19" front versions either with touch or key functionality. With its compact design, the Panel PC 477B-HMI and 477B-HMI/RTX is the ideal combination of control and HMI functionality on one platform and also offers the openness of a PC-based system.

Multi Panels MP 177, MP 277 and MP 377 with WinAC MP

• Multi Panels (MP) are - like Operator Panels - used to control and monitor machines on site.
• Their functionality can be expanded by the installation of additional Windows CE applications (Software PLC and Sm@rt options).
• The SIMATIC Multi Panels devices on the basis of Windows CE combine the rugged construction of operator panels with the flexibility of PCs.
• With the SIMATIC Multi Panels, the data in the message buffer are retained even when the panel is disconnected from the power supply, without battery backup.
